This was an interesting extension to an old cottage as it joined the traditional with a very modern industrial look. The big steel wing walls with the recycled bricks look amazing. A big steel box gutter ran through the main living area and kitchen and was a real feature. Beautiful timber floors gave it a warm feel, as did the barn doors used on the inside for the rooms. They had exposed aggregate concrete benchtops in the kitchen which came up well. We all really enjoyed building this extension.
